Hi,  does anyone know the geographical number for PRO lettings, Friar Gate Studios, Ford Street, DERBY, DE1 1EE.  It has recently moved premises and is now using an 0845 number.  The old geographical number does not work.  It is a letting company which does student lettings but is now ripping the students off.  My daughter will be renting from them next year and I want to try and save her some money. I've added the number Shertbert has found to the database. I'm not quite sure why they have chosen to publish the 0845 number on the website when they have gone to the trouble and maybe expense of getting a memorable local number.

The geographical 01332 number is available on BT Directory Enquiries.

Thanks for the reply, however you have given me the geographical number of their old premises  which I already had which just rings and rings with no answer.  They only moved across the road: new address Pro lettings,FRIAR GATE STUDIOS, Ford Street, DERBY, DE1 1EE,  NOT 33 Ford Street,  which is when they changed to the 0845 number.  I have now found a geographical number as they phoned my daughter and I retrieved it and tried it this morning and I got through.  It is 01332 258369.   I will add it to your database. :D

Hi I hope you didn't think I was shouting in my post.  The address was meant to be underlined and capitalized to show the subtle change in address which may have caused the confusion previously. :-*

Well, I did find that original number  on the BT 'phone book' for you, as Dave has verified. If that number is no longer in use, one wonders why BT have not removed it. If they just moved accross the road, why didn't they take it with them? I would have thought that would have been a lot simpler and cheaper. Perhaps thay still own that number.

Hmm I don't know.  That was the original number for 'Derby Student Properties' which was a trading name of PRO Lettings Ltd at the original address.  There was another number for PRO Lettings which was 01332 298198  but if you ring that you are told that the number is no longer in use and to use the 0845 number.  When I did that the first time, I asked them for a geographical number and they said use the 0845 one.  Anyway I will use the new one I have found and tell my daughter to do the same.  Thanks for your help. ::)
