I am receiving calls from 08716657077 when I answer nobody speaks but they simply cut off I have not bothered to call back suspecting it could be a money spinning scam. Has anyone got any idea of who the originator could be or maybe might have received calls from the same number.

If you do complain to Ofcom (Phonepay Plus is not YET responsible for 0871 numbers) you should note that these calls are in two respects treated by Ofcom as a persistent misuse of a telecommunications network or service:

1) By use of a 0871 number as CLI

2) By being "Silent Calls"
