Title: VIRGIN MONEY Post by PomPom on Jul 18th, 2008 at 12:46pm
Is anyone able to get me an 01, 02 or 03 number for Virgin Credit Card MBNA protection please?
The No. I have is 0800 917 5208. My reason for wanting an alternative No. is that I have a Sky Talk Unlimited package and have to pay extra for 0800 Nos. Any help would be gratefully received. David |

0800 numbers are free from any landline - Sky Talk or otherwise. If you really can't call the 0800 number for free, use one of the 020 call through numbers for freephone - 020 0222 0700 or 020 0222 0900.

Search the database for virgin money and you will find some entries. There is a verified entry for credit card services (MBNA). Also, as jgxenite says, 0800 numbers are free from landlines, including Sky Talk. |

jgxenite - Have contacted Sky Talk and they confirm that 0800 number are not free.
The 020 call through numbers? Do I dial 020 0222 0800 917 5208? Sorry if I'm a bit dim! :-/ |

The person at Sky you have talked to has no idea what they are talking about then. The Sky Talk Specialised Phone Numbers guide shows that 0800 numbers are free to call, which is how it is on any landline provider.
Regarding the call through numbers, you call the 020 number first (020 0222 0700 or 020 0222 0900), then (after the prompt) dial the 080x or 0500 number you wish to call. This number will only let you call freephone (0500, 0800 or 0808) numbers. |

jgxenite - Followeed your link to STSPN and you are correct. Thank you for pointing this out to me.
Have also made a note of the other freephone numbers. Cheers! ;D |

all you have to do is phone the over seas number on the back of the card. as an ex employee this is the quickest way to speak to someone and avoids the ques.
all the different brands MBNA offer e.g. virgin, conran, liverpool, etc are just branded calls, it is the same people that answer the calls and they will have access to your account on their computer system. thanks |
