It is my intention of wading through all my receipts ie utility/bank/insurance letters  indeed anything that I am likely to use in the future and noting the phone numbers, whether they be 0870/0871/0845 etc, then trawl through the system on this site, to fine both 0800 and regional alternatives, then  print off a copy and keep easily accessible.

Why?, well I would be the first to admit that if I am in a hurry or temper, I just might not have the time or patience to log-on to conduct a search. This way, no matter how long I was forced to listen to Edward Elgar or Greensleeves at least I'd know I could be having the last laugh.

It wasn't so bad when all you could hear was the dialling tone, but now the sods connect you and tell you how important your call is to them, of course it bloody is, it's lining their ****** pockets.
