Title: APEX Credit Management? Post by youradds on Aug 16th, 2008 at 9:37am
Hi,
I'm trying to find a geographic number of this company: http://www.apexcm.co.uk/ I know there are some numbers listed on saynoto0870 already, but I've tried calling that number - and it just comes up with a new number to call: 0871 244 2780 ..but I can't actually call anything starting with 08 (appart form 0808 or 0800), as they are blocked from our line. Could anyone help me? I've emailed them asking for a land line - but if someone can help me sooner, that would be great :) (got a feeling they are gonna take ages to reply :() TIA! Andy |

Perhaps you could try other numbers in the 01789 203 7xx range? If 700 is blocked, try 701... 702... etc.

Thanks for the reply. I've already tried that - and all those come up with inactive numbers too, and again - just give a bloomin 0871 number again :( It really makes me wonder how they expect people with debts, to call them on these lines (cos its a hell of a lot cheaper to call from a geographic number these days, comapred to 0870, 0871, and even 0845) - just boggles the mind :( Thanks for the quick reply btw ! Cheers Andy |

Hmm... they are obviously going to extreme lengths to ensure you don't ring a geographic number.
Aside from emailing them (which I see you've already done), I don't think there is great deal else we can do. Maybe one of the "forum veterans" can suggest other alleys we could try? |

Hi,
Yeah, its such a PITA :( If I hear back from them with a geographic number, I'll post it here - so others can make user of it too 8-) (assuming they even reply - otherwise, its gonna be snail mail - which really sucks) Cheers Andy |

Well, there is the fax option (which, strangely, is an 01 number) - assuming you have access to a fax machine.
Please do post it here if you ever hear back... |

If one rings 01789 203 7/00/12/14, etc there is a recorded message about the number no longer being in use and a request to ring 0871 244 2780.
However, there is one number in the range which doesn't have the recorded message and keeps ringing out, without a reply today Saturday. It is 01789 203 713. Suggest you try it on Monday. Incidentally, this is the phone number which used to be at the bottom of their web page where now the 0871 number appears. Their fax number 01789 203 733 also works and note the similarity to the suggested geographic phone number. At |

Hi, Thanks for the reply :) I will try faxing them with a request to either fax back a real number to call, or to call me back themselves. I'm gonna leave it til monday now anyway - so will give that 01789 203 713 number a go then, and see if I have any joy. Will post back here once I know more / if I get through :) Thanks again guys! Hi,
Just an update - this number worked :) 01789 203 713 Not sure who it was a got through to (think she was a little confused as to how I got her number LOL) - but got put through to the right department ok. Maybe worth this site admin to call them, and ask for them to give a real number, instead of the 0871 numbers? (so it can be put on this site - with the right number :)) Anyway, thanks for the help! Cheers Andy |
