I think you'll find the £5 is for the Sky Talk Unlimited CALLS package - and that your line rental is separate (either £10/month if you've handed it over to Sky, or £10.50 if you've left it with BT).

BTW, it's calls of up to an hour to 20 countries' landlines and to mobiles in USA and Canada.
