Hi,

We are plagued by a number, 0800 458 5800, which lands on our phone lines. It seems to be OAPs who are enquiring about digital TV upgrades ! Does anyone recognise this, or can provide an alternative number to ring, or advise on how to stop it ringing here ?

Have you tried ringing this number to see where you end up?

Are you saying that people dialing 0800 458 5800 are finding themselves put through to your own phone?

If that's the case, then it's probably the number has been misrouted from something similar...

0800 458 * is allocated to Opal Telecom. It's likely to be one of their customers whom has set it wrong, but without knowing more you can try contacting them directly to report the problem. From their website, 0800 083 8000 is their contact number for sales, 0800 298 6725 for customer service; I imagine one or other will be able to help you.
