A bit more detail might have been helpful like an address or a web site. ::)
Anyway is this what you are looking for? http://uk.lge.com/support/contact/main.jhtml |

Hi Minardi, thanks for this. These two numbers are indentified as LG Customer Services on the IVR (recorded menu), as too is 0844 847 1400 and I have listed the 01753 number as alternative for both these 0844 numbers. The LG Electronics UK contact page gives the reception (switchboard) number for the head office as *** number removed *** and I have put a second entry in the database with those 0844 numbers, and with this number, with clear indication that it is switchboard and not direct to customer services. [edit]Number removed as people still dial and ask for Support or Registrations even though it quite clearly says that they cannot put calls through.[/edit] |

Sorry I know this thread may be old but I can't find any LG numbers on here for some reason. Typed in LG and no results.
Anyway the number 01753 491300 is no longer recognised, dead. The number *** number removed *** does work but they won't put you through and just give you the rip-off 0844 number. Companys like LG really like to make you pay and use numbers that cost more. :( [edit]Number removed as people still dial and ask for Support or Registrations even though it quite clearly says that they cannot put calls through.[/edit] |

I had a look on the LG website,
The official number given is: 0844 847 54 54 when typed into the search box it gives: 01480 482896 as an alternative. It does say LG Mobile against it. Worth a try. |

I have updated the LG entries so that they all have "LG Electronics" in them, so do a search for lg electronics to return them all.
I've removed the 491300 number and there are now three verified entries:

It also appears you can "e-mail" them via their website: https://wws.lg.com/uk/support/contact/support-message.jsp

Title: Re: LG Electronics Post by smileyeyes on Jul 26th, 2013 at 10:42am Hi All, My new LG 27MT93V TV was delivered yesterday..... and I need help with the settings. The company I bought the TV from are online because I am housebound.... and they do not offer technical advice. :o Was pretty shocked to find that there doesn't appear to be a valid geo number I can use. Have tried the numbers that Dave listed.....and yep, they will not transfer calls / one number is for mobile phone enquiries only. >:( I went on their website.....Live Chat..... Awaiting a call back ! To be honest I don't trust I will get a call. Very sad.....just want to watch my TV Has AnyBody got a valid geo number ? :'( Thanks... |

We work on the main reception of LG and recieve numerous calls for C/S. Sadly at this moment we do not have alternative numbers to our 0844 Customer service number,or the registration at Domestic and General (another company), and we cannot transfer to these lines as we do not have this facility on our switchboards to do so. They work in a cambridge office and we work in a slough office! The only aternatives we have at the moment are ONLINE CHAT, Email address for a call back or postal address for them. Next year we may have alternative we have been informed... so please do not blame the poor messengers; ie receptionists at H.O thank you, as this is out of our control!

Whoever is in charge of the telephone system at LG will need to be aware of "The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013" which will be published in mid-December 2013.
These will make it illegal to use 084, 087 and 09 numbers for customer service, complaints and any other similar functions. The compliance date is 12 June 2014. The fact that "alternative numbers" are already being talked about suggests there is already an awareness of these requirements. Swapping to the matching 034 or 037 number is enough to comply. These should be "replacement" numbers, not alternative numbers offered in parallel with 084 and 087 numbers. Similar regulations are being enacted in all EU member states, all with the same compliance date. |

Good Afternoon,
Having searched the UK Page of LG Electronics, I found this page which gives an e-mail contact for their Corporate Communications Team.... it maybe worth e-mailing them and establishing IF they intend to amend their contact numbers to an 01/02/03 based alternative. In the mean time as has been pointed out, there are alternatives to calling LGE UK. :) |

I have removed your number from the database. It was listed alongside the 0844 847 5454 number with the note (in red and emboldened as quoted): Quote:
Clearly, there are those who use this site who are unable to read or are unable to interpret the note. Sadly, some of this group is unable to communicate in a civilised manner when met with an undesired reply. |
