I have booked a National Trust holiday cottage for early in the new year. The instructions for getting the key are: "Please call 0844 8002075 a week before your stay for the code" (to the key safe)

Searching this site gives 01225 792274 as the alternative to 0844 8002070 which is the main number for holiday cottages. Obviously I will try this number first but does anyone have any experience of getting the key this way?

I will report back on success or otherwise. I'm sure it doesn't help that a week before my holiday is a public holiday.

Phoned them today on 01225 792274. Got the key safe code without problems.
