I had one of those 'sorry you were out' cards today and have to collect a parcel from the Royal Mail Office. I have searched the net but unable to find a local number to ring to arrange collection.

OK, it's the wrong delivery office, but might the Malmo Road Delivery Office (HU7 0AA) on 01482 677 670 be able to help with a number?

A search of 192.com for Post Office in HU5 4 gives Fairfax Avenue Post Office as 01482 343797. This will be nearby; it is in the same sector of HU5. Perhaps they can give you the geographical number.

Please let us know how you get on. If you have a working number, we can add it to the database.

When I phoned and asked for the geographical number I was only given the 0845 number, so wasn't going to phone that number again as I was put on hold yesterday for an age so going in to collect parcel instead.
