I've searched for 'Lloyds TSB' on the site & noticed certain people have been able to disclose direct dials of the branches themselves, but only a few so far unfortunately. Today i got chatting to an agent at the call centre who told me my direct dial for 'Gorseinon, Swansea' - 0845 425 5409. I was wondering if anyone has been able to gain the number for this branch (STD Code: 01792 possibly 89xxxx) or how i could go about investigating this?

A little birdie told me about this site i must say what an AMAZING idea, if OFTEL cannot stop this blatant consumer rip-off then its up to the masses to ensure we can call somewhere at the minimum cost (the Telecomms industry is so dodgy its unbelievable, whoever thought it would be fair to allow privacy to organisations at the expense of the honest phone user should be castrated by short-sighted lemmings as far as i'm concerned!!) ::)

However, the number of the High Street branch at least rings out (on Sunday):

I can confirm that this number is available 01403 755276 for the above branch.

I went in there today to deposit a cheque and there was a queue and a manager took the cheque to save time and gave me his business card as a receipt and he hand wrote the above number on the card. So I thought I would share this with other members here. :)

Oh, I suppose I should have checked your database. I see your point, but I just did a Google search, as I suppose lots of people will, and it threw up this post.

I posted the response (highlighted in the quote above) to thank you for posting the feedback on a previously suggested number. I encourage all users of our alternative numbers service to register on the forum and post feedback, particularly where numbers aren't suitable alternatives or are and are unverified or not listed at all. The same goes for threads such as this where members make suggestions for alternatives. It's as important to say whether a number doesn't work as does work.

I also posted so as to tell others that I have checked the database, so they needn't do. And of course, six or twelve months down the line, I can read it myself and see that I checked that it wasn't listed.


I deplore all users of this site who ring a number they found here and don't tell us if it has not functioned as a suitable alternative. It is not the mission of SAYNOTO0870.COM to cause a nuisance in this way.

Where a number does not go through to the organisation in question, such as in this case, or where it goes to the right organisation but the wrong department who can do no more than issue the published 08 number, it is a SAYNOTO0870.COM user's duty to report it so we can remove it and stop others from going along the same road. Those who do not do so have no consideration for fellow human beings; the person on the other end and fellow site users and administrators.

Clearly this number was previously used by this branch of the bank, and there are still sources quoting it as being so. I have obfuscated in above postings to prevent anyone obtaining it from this site.
