Title: Vodafone - Missed calls from 0808 0000133
Post by andylloyd on Apr 28th, 2009 at 1:33pm
Hi all,
have had several missed calls on my mobile from the above number, am rather reluctant to call back and also reluctant to answer to.
Any ideas at all to whom this number originates too?

Cheers
Andy

It looks it if may be Vodafone.

I don't know whether calling it back would help?

If so, make sure to use a call through number on your mobile - 020 0222 0700/020 0222 0900/01229 33 0800

Indeed it is. When you call it it says "Thank you for calling Vodafone. We've tried to contact you just as a courtesy call. …"

Not sure what the point is in calling a mobile and presenting a freephone (0808) number as they are anything but from mobiles.  ::)

Where have you got the last number from? I have never seen that before?  :-?

01229 33 0800 used to be the number for 0800Buster (www.0800buster.co.uk) although I've just seen that they've now changed it to 01257 38 0800.

It is another 0800 call through number that I've used. It's provided by Localphone (www.localphone.com).

Probably they want you to ring back to see who was calling and make a few bob on the call for themselves [smiley=thumbdown.gif]
