You can't find them where? Maybe either they are not there to be found or you are not looking in the right place.

All in all, you couldn't have been more vague  :-?

Please start a new thread and provide the name and full address of the dentist and the 08 number in question.

Swinton Dental Centre, 63 Chorley Road, Swinton. Number is 08448151368. What do you mean by start a new thread? i have never posted on forums on line so i am ignorant.

A number of websites list 0161 793 7243, but this number is now not recognised. I presume this is the old number before the moved to the 0844 one. I suspect that this is the "Dentist Line" system; the dentists equivalent of GPs' Surgery Line.

This is a thread you started when you joined and you started it with "hi all!". Another way to put it is start a new topic, but you've posted here now, so leave it as it is.

The post code for this surgery is M27 4AF.


By experience, I have found that these surgery (dentist) systems have blocks of numbers, one for each staff member. The main number is usually amongst these block of numbers.

For example, one staff member might be 01234 123914. Another might be 01234 123915. You can see a pattern here that they use 01234 12391x numbers. You might try others and find that 01234 123910 is the main number that the 0844 goes to.

The best I can suggest you do is look around the surgery to see if you can spot any such numbers written down and make a note of them. Then post the number(s) here and we will see what we can do, if we can locate the main number from there.
