Did anyone see the item on BBC Teletext yesterday that calls to any NHS 084x number are to cost 'no more than that of a local call'? The actual 'headline' said that the use of such numbers 'was to be made illegal in England' but in the detail there was just some guff about the calls costing no more than the caller would have paid for a local call.

I initially thought it was a fudge, but really this is an understatement. There is already a long thread running on it in the public sector section of the forum:
