Title: Search function request Post by dale2507 on Sep 23rd, 2009 at 4:46pm
I was just wondering if you could make the search for numbers functionality of the site use a get request rather than a post. This would mean that people could manually add the search to the browser and i know for google chrome people would be able to highlight a number, right click and then click search saynoto0870.com for 08blahblah.
I think it would be quite useful and i'm sure you could find out how to add a link to add the site to browsers search functions which are becoming more common now. :) Just an idea |

An excellent suggestion. This should be referred on to the site redesign team - http://www.saynoto0870.com/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.cgi?num=1246239182.

It isn't widely documented though - probably why the OP was requesting it.
SCV, it's probably not best to point new users towards the thread regarding the site redesign until it is actually confirmed as official that they are redesigning it. Otherwise, it should probably be pointed towards Daniel or the existing "make SAYNO better" thread. |

As the thread in question enjoyed wide discussion, with the participation of moderators, I understood that although the outcome of the work has not yet been approved, this is a serious on-going project.
Whilst discussiing undocumented features, can someone advise me about how to access the RSS feeds that are apparently available from the forum? |

I think RSS can only be used on the latest versions of YaBB
