Hi Dave or Other Mods..
No threads on eBay? I did a search by subject.. Anyway, just a note to say you can probably confirm the number that already appears (four times) in the unverified database for eBay of 020 8080 2105. I had this email from eBay themselves today: Quote:

Thanks. I've removed the duplicate entries and added one for the customer support number 020 8080 2105 and 2100. 2101 also answers as "customer support", so others may do the same.

None of these numbers work any more >:( (numbers "not recognised")
Only 0208 605 3000 works but it only takes you to a recorded message directing you back to the Contact Us email screen on the eBay UK website eBay have obviously pulled these recently :( I have just spoken to PowerSeller Support on 020 8605 3111 and they told me to try the General eBay Support Helpline on the following freephone number - 0800 358 3229 - but this number is also currently "Not Recognised" it seems!!!???? >:( :( :( ....aaaaaaaaaarrrgh!!! >:( >:( >:( >:( :( :( :( :( |

Hi and welcome to SAYNOTO0870.COM. I have removed the following entries: eBay UK 020 8080 2105 Customer support Also: 020 8080 2100 The menu on 020 8605 3000 has an option for Paypal (option 1). I selected it and got the standard BT network message "The number you have dialled has not been recognised." What this is, is not the number I dialled, but on selecting option 1 it puts the call through to another number which is evidently now not recognised. Likewise, PayPal's published number 08707 307 191 is also not reconised. Seems to me like the underlying numbers that these route too are now not recognised. Maybe there is a fault.... A few minutes after writing the above, the eBay UK numbers have all come back to life. I think that there was a fault. 0800 358 3229 which wasn't in our database is the same as calling 020 8080 2105. They say they are for invitation only helpline for selected frequent customers which probably explains why the 020 8605 3000 number refers customers to the e-mail facilities. Option 1 on 020 8605 3000 now transfers to the PayPal UK helpline (same as 0870 number). |

I think they have been hacked, ebay tat is.
Anyone trying to ring because they cannot sign in to sell something? and keep being asked for them to sign in, but if you close the page and go back to ebay you are already signed in!! |
