The number shown on the database - 01634 873111 no longer works and asks you to phone 0845 222 51111, furthermore the calling another alternative number - 01634 245566 tells you to phone 0845 850 6060. I used the number 01634 873100 today and it worked with no problem.

I see that Mid Kent Water has been taken over by South East Water but they say that the two customer contact centres have yet to be merged so you need to contact the right one for your area.

I have also renamed the Mid Kent Water entries so that a search for South East Water brings them up.

South East Water's number 01634 873100 no longer works.  However, it would seem that many numbers around 01634 873*** may still be direct lines for various departments in the company.

Thanks. I've removed this number which is not recognised. An unverified entry said it was for reception.

I have replaced it with the switchboard number 01444 448200.

From my understanding, South East Water in Kent was originally Mid-Kent Water and that is what the 01634 numbers relate to. It is possible that the two company's systems have been merged and thus that enquiries from any area can be dealt with in a single location. However, the contact page would suggest that this is not the case as different 08 numbers are given for different areas.  :-/
