Can you please help

I am searching for PC world and I am only receiving 1 result where as the system usually returns a page of results

I have also entered this number 0844 871 0505 as displayed on the PC World site and it returns a Manchester number

Baz, as a regular member, you know that we are not psychic and that this forum, like any other, requires information to be posted here.

Firstly, you say you are searching for PC World and only receiving 1 result. I have amended the title of this thread and removed the space between the 'P' and the 'C'. I then searched the database for p c world - note the space inbetween the 'P' and 'C' and it returned one unverified entry submitted like that. I have removed the space from this entry.

Entries in the database are listed as pc world - i.e. without the space.


Why are you needing to call PC World? What department or area? What is the 08xx number that they have given you? Is it 0844 871 0505?

0844 871 0505 is the sales number for Equanet, as its database entry says. The database even provides a link to its website which has this 0844 number on the homepage! It is part of DSGi, the parent company of PC World and others.

As it says on its website (at the bottom) it is based in Bury, hence the 0161 (Manchester) numbers in the Saynoto0870 database. The numbers listed for this company were checked a couple of months ago and were correct then.
