Title: 03 Calls to be cheaper than "National Rate" Post by SilentCallsVictim on Oct 12th, 2009 at 7:55pm
Talk Talk recently re-introduced a distinction between "National" and "Local" rates for residential customers.
Concern was expressed about the fact that many 03 numbers are used for locally provided services, notably the Metropolitan Police. In response to these concerns, Talk Talk has now announced that with effect from 1 November all 03 numbers will be treated as if "Local", whenever the distinction applies. See http://www.talktalk.co.uk/pricechange. Quote:
I believe that this modest change should be chalked up as a campaigning success, for which we can all take credit. |

Yes indeed SCV and I can assure you that Surrey Police are shortly going to be hearing all about 020 3 numbers now being treated as cheaper "local call rate" numbers by TalkTalk. |

** all about (020) 3 numbers **
I don't understand this comment. The OP wrote about 03xx numbers. |
