Title: Swiss Cottage Surgery, London, NW3 Post by chinaboy on Nov 10th, 2009 at 5:15pm
I have searched far and wide for a geographic number for the London Swiss Cottage Surgery NW3 3NP, and while I take Dave's reply #105 on board, it may be that someone just MIGHT have tracked one down before?!
0844 477 8693 is their revenue-generating number (Fax as well! 0844 477 3359) They have tried to help by printing a number to call from Overseas however!! 0970 890 2440. Is the only answer to call this after 6 within a BT package or can someone help :) many thanks ~ Edited by Dave: Thread title amended |

Practice Manager, John Orr MBE, has been mentioned elsewhere on our forum. See this post on a NEG thread.
Whilst others in Camden have been good enough to provide us with their direct 020 number, which may lead us to their surgery's proper number, Mr Orr provided the 0870 number. This was back in 2005 when 0870 was banned. |

Not sure if this is any help, but this is their 'out of hours 'number for doctors

Are you with BT and if so are you making all your calls with BT? |

Ive got Rental and evenings and weekends with BT (they've just reduced the cost to £30.75 per quarter inc VAT), so I make all landline calls in the day with my mobile allowance, and use BT at other times.

The reason I asked is because the premium paid to receiving 0870 parties has now been removed, meaning that the telephone companies we make our calls with can bring the prices they charge us for making 0870 calls into line with those for 01/02/03 numbers. Whilst BT does this, Virgin Media, the mobile operators and some other providers don't, and still choose to levy a premium on their customers (callers) even they no longer pass it on. |
