the number you have for job center plus here in the forum is no longer valid.
When you dial it ,they give you a new number which is 08456043719.
does anyone know an alternative,please?

A search of the database for the number 08456043719 brings up nothing so I have no idea what alternative you are referring to.

I`m talking about jobcenter plus which i put in the subject.
there is a search on this web site for name of company too,not only a number search....but i`ll have a look for you and post it in my next posting.

ok,I found more geographycal numbers on the forum now after I wrote job center in a different way...if you put job center or jobcenter or jobcenter plus or job center plus-it comes out different

This is because different entries have been submitted to the database using different spellings and some with spaces and some not.

"Center" is the American English spelling. The British English spelling is "Centre".

So you are looking for the number for Hounslow JobCentre. The number is answered by a recording referring to the 0845 number. It ends 00, so I would hazard a guess that other numbers at this JobCentre are in the same range and follow on from 020 8607 1600.

I've changed the entries for JobCentre Plus so that they all have the same company name and will hence come up with a search of jobcentre

I think that we're getting somewhere. It may have helped if you had put this information in your original posting.  ::)

A Google of "0845 604 3719" suggests that it's a general number for JobCentres as it is listed in connection with other locations.


As with the Hounslow number above, this 020 8218 4700 number has the same recording by the usual female voiceover used by JCP. I repeat what I said and that is that other direct numbers at the same location are likely to start with same digits, 020 8218 47xx. Therefore, I suggest you try successive numbers and let us know how you get on.
