The telephone number for Barclays Premier Banking Travel Īnsurance claim-line is 0800 068 1696. There is no alternative number on the internet. This is a problem when using a mobile. It is a customer services number.

Hi and welcome to SAYNOTO0870.COM.
Firstly, please can you look at the instructions for posting a request which set-out suggested information to be provided such as the address of the company, and in this case the name of the insurer. In this case it is an Aviva policy. The 0800 068 1696 number has a menu for different types of policy (1. Home, 2. Motor or 3. Travel) and the direct alternative for this menu is 01603 208570. If it's travel insurance, you can bypass this menu by dialling 01603 208240, which gets you to the same menu as selecting option 3 above. If you need to make calls to "freephone" numbers (0800/0808/0500) from a mobile phone, and you don't have an alternative to hand, you can ring using a dial through provider such as 020 0222 0900. ;) |

No it isn't. If you use whichever of the 0200 gateways works on your network, it'll cost the same as a geographical call (or be charged as 'inclusive minutes' if you have them). Try 0200 222 0700 and 0200 222 0900 (I know the number format is wrong but, in these cases, it looks better that way). |

Hi Dave
You mention that we need to provide you with the "address of the company, and in this case the name of the insurer" Unfortunately, it's not possible for someone like me to know the address of the company etc. All I'm given is a free-phone telephone number from Barclays Premier Customer Services line. Nor would I have a clue where to look for the relevant information, hence my using the saynoto0870.com site. I haven't a clue about the 020 numbers listed and wouldn't risk dialling them from a mobile. 0800buster provides a telephone number to use from which an 0800 number can be dialled. Any information I get is thankfully, from this website. Thank you very much for providing me with the alternative number!!! Regards Shahzad Arif |

If you have a policy already then you will have the name and address of the insurer. This may be in the publicity material and certainly in the policy document. All insurance companies must publish a "Key Facts" document for their customers, and it will be on there. The page in question will have the following logo on: In this case, by chance I happened to know that it is Aviva and had already located the alternative numbers. shahzadarif wrote on Feb 5th, 2010 at 3:37pm:
0800buster is another such service. 020 is the dialling code for London, hence it will be billed as a normal call to a landline, being part of inclusive minutes where applicable. |
