If it's just a missed delivery card and you want to ring to arrange re-delivery, then I advise you ring the central call centre on 0191 512 7003. There is usually little benefit (if any) in ringing a depot or sorting office directly, because these sorts of things are likely to be done by computer which can be accessed from anywhere. Ringing the depot directly requires someone working at that location to go and answer the phone whereas those at the central call centre are there and waiting.

There is also no guarantee that the 0844 number is actually answered at your local branch; it could be that there is a different 0844 number for each branch, but it goes through to the central call centre, meaning that when they take your call they can see what branch you are calling about because they can (maybe) see the number you dialled.
