Does anyone have the geographical telephone number of the Nationwide Building Society branch at Terminus Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex. I have an elderly father who banks with this organisation and I now have to take over his finances as he is rather frail at 96.

Try 01323 530200, that was their number from an old phone book.

Report back and say if it works or not!

Many thanks 'Reserved' but that number just gives a recorded message directing you to the )*$% number. Back to the drawing board!!!!

Try this 0800 102030 and say "switchboard" to the automated service

You will then be able to talk to the operator

They should either transfer the call or give you the Geo Number

This has worked for me in the past I have even rang back and asked a different operator its worth a try

Googling Nationwide Eastbourne gives me: 01323 530 880 for 157 Terminus Road, Eastbourne.

Otherwise try the 0800 Number or : 01793 656789 which is Customer Services

I've added this to this thread as I believe all the threads on Nationwide have been linked.  I have just used the international number for credit cards (02476 438 997) without any problems, there was no need to put 141 first, dialling that number takes you straight through to the (interminable) menus at the end of which you get to speak to someone.  I would expect this to work in the same way for the usual customer services number (which I have used but not for a few months) given in the previous post.   Hope this helps.
