Just to tell everyone, I have just this minute called De Vere Hotels DevonPort House (Greenwich) to discuss a booking I had made. The contact number given was: 0844 980 2327. However I have found a 020 alternative, which I have added to the database, and I can confirm it works, and takes you through directly to reception.

Well done. Do enjoy your stay - the old Royal Naval College is certainly worth a visit, you won't miss the painted gallery, be sure not to miss the Chapel.

I used to live in S E London, and was born in Greenwich.. but never saw the Royal Naval College... or at least I don't remember

Dave can you move the number (if you have not done so already) to Verified?  To advise the number goes to Main reservations, and skips the IVR

I have completed an overhaul of the entries for De Vere Venues & Hotels. They switched from 0870 to 0844 numbers and I have removed the former and added the latter.

The geographic numbers for most venues are listed on their individual contact pages on the De Vere website. This has allowed me to verify quite a number of them. I have also added the address of each one.


The were some verified central reservations numbers, but these are now not recognised, so I have removed them. They are:

• Central reservations: 01928 790306 (alternative to 0870 606 3606 and 0844 980 2492)
  
• Central reservations: 01928 756288 (alternative to 0870 111 0516 and 0845 375 2808)
  
• Switchboard: 01928 712111
  
• Fax: 01928 756335

Dave, as alway's a pleasure to help.... I find it amazing that companies continue to insist on using these numbers (as I have noted on other comments on the forum) .. with De Vere I had to call them to advise them I was not staying in the room, after 1st getting the wrong department on a previous occasion, I decided to do some digging 1st and got the 020 Geo number. I was very pleased to find out it put me directly through to the Hotels front desk.

As others have said, this website is on many occasions a Goldmine... I've got some seperate feedback regarding Hastings Direct, which I hope to give out shortly.
