Just to say that the following number can be verified:
0116 201 1000 which is an alternative for 0844 561 8288,
This number was on the header of a letter received from them with regard to a complaint, with the 0844 listed at the bottom of the letter.

The Fax number that was on this letter is 0116 200 4040.

And the address is:

Thanks for this. The 0844 number identifies itself as "Customer Relations" and the 0116 number is the main office switchboard, so I have amended the entry to say that callers should ask to be put through. I presume that that was the case when you called.

If you find you have to ask to be put through, please say so so that we can put that into entries as people may be expecting to ring the alternative and be through to the correct department. I therefore add a message to those entries where I know that callers will have to ask to be put through, thus avoiding the potential for embarrassment.

I can also confirm the 0116 201 1000 number worked for me to get through to Alliance and Leicester this morning.  I asked for Customer Services and I was put through.

However this number is still listed as unverified in the database ?

I was using it for the Customer Service Centre, Carlton Park, Narborough, Leicester  LE19 0AL  08448 00 00 88.  Just asked for Customer Services.

I've linked this number to 0500 959595 which was verified as customer services; switchboard (0116 201 1000), with a note to say that callers will have to ask to be put through; and 0800 0566066 which gets through to the same menu as is on the main banking number, 0844 800 9000.
