Title: O2 to 0800 numbers not free
Post by mini76 on May 6th, 2010 at 10:17am
Hi,
I have just been in touch with O2 over this question and they tell me 0800 numbers are not free.
Can anyone verify this. As I'm sure the lady was not 100% Sure about this.  :-/

With these exceptions

0800 calls are charged at your normal rate

Thank you for your reply.
I can see why she was getting confused.
And came up with the answer of none.
She would have been on the phone for hours.  :D

Just an addage if I have free minutes does that count.
I would not mind it counting as free minutes.

Providing it's 0800 (not 087x or 084x) the call should be part of your free minutes bundle

Sherbert - you are correct! Many apologies to the OP for my incorrect info.

I'm shocked to discover that 0800/08/84x/87x are ALL charged at the same ridiculous 20p/min rate:

Rip-offs reign supreme

This information has been posted many times, but to get 0800 numbers as part of your inclusive minutes, use a dial-through geographic number like 020 0222 0700.
