I need to contact them about their driving school but would like to know if there is an alternative number that will be cheaper to call?

As pointed out by mainbass, the entry gave 0870 400 4000 = 01932 373707. Although the contact page for Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy gives the 0845 number, the Google map has a bubble pointing to this address with the phone number 0870 400 4000 and the company name "Mercedes-Benz World".

I am one of the Driving Coaches that work for Mercedes Benz Driving Academy and I can confirm the direct line to the Driving School.

This is incorrect.
The 0845 number quoted belongs to MBDA and the mobile number belongs to Alex Culff who is a female ADI franchised by MBDA.  
We all have our respective mobile numbers along side the 0845 numbers you are talking about.
