Hi,

Just had a look for a geo number for Witham (Essex) CAB
The only entry I could see with our dialling code - 01376 was in the Unverified Numbers Database:
Citizens Advice Bureau       0870 126 4065             01376 512168
I rung the number, and immediately recognised the voice, and message..
512168 is purely for the Witham CAB Debt Line. :exclamation
The lady who runs it, Prathiba, asks you to leave a message.
If you leave a message for general advice, they do not call you back.
So, can verify the number above, but still looking for Witham CAB (general enquiries)?

The website for this bureau is www.bhwcab.org.uk

Its contact page gives 0844 4994719 for general advice and I presume that this number replaced the 0870 number.

The number 01376 512168 is in fact quoted as the "Debtline" on the said page. As it is available anyway and is not an alternative to the 0844 number, I have removed it from the listings. It would be innappropriate to channel general enquiries towards the Debtline; thus wasting citizens' time and that of the recipients of those calls.
