Hi there. Sorry for that. The address is actually only a mailing address for all correspondence to goto at an industrial site which is a sorting office and the call centre is located else where form what I gather but they don't give this information out when requested.

The address on the paperwork along with the phone number is Clyde and Fife BDC, Baird Street, Glasgow, G90 8BJ.

The department is for Benefit enquires such as Income Support, Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance, it is the main contact centre for the Clyde and Fife regional area as far as the Job Centre works.

You are still not saying what you want. For example are you wanting

Thanks for that. Again, my apologies as I should have mentioned that it is for existing claims and not new claims.

Query relates to an existing claim with Employment Support Allowance. The 0845 number gives options to choose, ESA is option 3 but would rather use an alternative if available as they tend to have you queing for ages before you can get through.

I have found this thread for Income Support in West Scotland. The requestor called the 0845 608 8582 number a year ago and said it went through to Bathgate. The geographic number suggested then was 01506 772000, which now has the familiar Jobcentre Plus message redirecting to the main Jobcentre number, 0845 604 3719.

Assuming that calls are still answered at that location, then I suggest that direct numbers at that office follow on, i.e. 772001, 772002 up to however numbers they have.

This Parliamentary question (MS Word format) from 2008 has the Bathgate office on a list of locations reburbished by DWP in the last 2 years:

Bathgate BDC
31-33 Whitburn Rd.
Bathgate
EH48 1HG

It also says that the office is 2215 sq m.
