Title: o2 Home Phone Service Post by firejuggler on Aug 13th, 2010 at 2:57pm
Sorry to site owners I have been a member for some time and only just got around to coming along and posting, quick intro I am Jase live in Somerset and a massive fan of this site and money saving expert and such like.
Have fair bit of knowledge to offer as I have tried all sorts regarding phone service etc and have some good tools at home to get GEO numbers being in database work so hope I can offer some help back in the future. Anyhow my first post is more of question to others. I have been on with o2 Broadband for over 2 years now since happily leaving Virgin, I have personally been over the moon with the customer care and service I have had from the company for broadband. I currently have the BT package that allowes Free Evening and Weekend Calls for a fixed rate as long as I stay on this for 12 months, I use 1899 for day calls. This is about to end, but instead of re-approving for another 12 months contract I am thinking of moving to o2 Home Phone anytime to go along with my Broadband. BT is now costing me £12.47 per month and I pay about £5 every two months to 1899 so moving to this would give me a fixed charge of £12.50 for all calls. I do not use any of the BT bolt ons so I am not concerned with them not being included as standard in o2. Has anyone happily moved over to this service ? all ok ? any feedback would be helpful. Many thanks. |

Hello Fire Juggler,
I am not sure if anyone here has used or uses O2 Home Phone, I wouldn't usually recommend or suggest other sites but in this instance I'd suggest it maybe worth checking out the O2 Customer Forums on the main O2 UK site, and also ThinkBroadband.com both of those sites I am a member of, and they have a wealth of info on BOTH O2 Home Phone and O2 Broadband. If you need any more info please don't hesistate to PM me via the Private Mesage button or reply on here... :) |

A friend recently moved her BB and phone services from AOL and BT to O2. The move went without any problems from the O2 side and so far it's all working fine. Yet to see if BT and AOL end up claiming money with menaces even though they each probably owe her a few ££ refund.
