I don,t have an orange mobile phone but someone told me it is possible to call 0800 numbers for free fom the orange network if you know how to...is this correct info or out of date ? Anyone know ?

No, this is hopelessly out of date!
Years ago, pay monthly subscribers could call 0800 numbers for free. Similarly, the bean counters had their way and Orange Everyphone was scrapped. This allowed pay monthly users to divert their number to another Orange mobile number or a landline number with no charge for any calls that were diverted. |

When I asked about other providers offering such good rates, I was referring to calls to UK mobiles (on and off-net) and UK landlines as these are the main types of calls made.

Thanks for all your posts about this topic, usefull information and very informative, never heard of that less well known ( ie not Tmobile, 02 etc.... ) mobile company for payasyougo....will check it out, and asda..... don,t know what we,d do without this forum !
