The number is in the STD code area 020. 0208 is not the area code!  ::)

For this one, I simply put into Google "67 bridge street" pinner "020" and the first result that popped up was this one which gives 020 8866 0141 for "Pinner Sorting Office" at that address.

Please let us know how you get on with this and how you got on with the other number. If they work, I can then list them in the database for others to use.  :)

Indeed. I've pointed out to the OP that the code for London is 020 and not 0208. It is usual convention to put the space between code and local number to make it easier to read and see the code which can be omitted when calling from a line with the same code.

The 8 is the first digit of the local number and local numbers in with the London code also begin 3 and 7. Thus, anyone with a London landline number (which begins 020) can pick up the phone and ring Pinner Delivery Office on 8437 6812; no need for the 020.

Which it seems 99% of Londoners, especially those in the "outer" area, STILL don't get, over 10 years after it happened!
