I don't think that this is the sort of thing we would list. It isn't an alternative to any 08 number, and there's the possibility that this could be a personal mobile number, and one which the owner would not wish to be publicised.

I use his site and find it very useful.  My regard for 0844 - 0871 etc Nos. is below zero and I urge all my tenants [aprox 80 annually] and friends to do the same.

As you've joined the forum, do feed-back on updates and additions you find are necessary in the alternative numbers listings.

Post about this in the Requests section, letting us know of any numbers that no longer work (say why e.g. not recognised, always busy). Also post about any numbers which are unverified and do work. I act on postings on this quickly, updating the database where required.

I'm not too bothered about verified listings that do work, although if it would help to amend a verified entry, then please let us know. For example, if you called an alternative and you had to ask to be put through (perhaps it was a main switchboard), then I can add a note to that effect, thereby making it clearer to site users and avoiding the potential for embarrassment.

With many people calling from mobiles and having "any network calls" included in a bundle, a properly verified mobile number alternative to a 0871 (or other expensive and non-inclusive) number could be of benefit.

These are likely to apply only to small businesses, but I think that a good suggestion for expansion of the service has been made.
