Auto Windshields repair glass on behalf of SAGA insurance. The procedure is that you contact Auto Windshields direct with the details and then pay them the excess on your policy - SAGA takes care of the rest. Pretty standard.

A search on Auto Windshields number (0845 3020216) reveals several unverified entries, one of which is displayed as Auto WindSCREENS. The 0845 number displayed as as above, and the alternative numbers are  01246 223000 and 0800 9995000, so the suggestion is that these are alternative numbers for Auto WindSHIELDS.

They are not the same company, and they will suggest that the arrangement with SAGA is that you pay the full amount and then claim back the difference through SAGA. Seems to be a scam, and the entry needs removing from the database. I have sent a message via Contact Us, and it was suggested I also put a message on here - hence this!

Thanks for this. I've removed the entry in question. One verified remains for Auto Windscreens.

This also begs the question, what about the other entries which are all unverified?
