Hi Everybody

Can anyone help me please - I have rung 736 361 from Barnsley and it was answered "South Yorkshire Police-but not the switch board" can anybody tell me why this happened.

Will this be a suitable alternative number when they eventually switch over to the new 3 didgit number.

I have also just rung 0114 2 20 20 20 and I was put through to the automated switchboard at South Yorkshire Police

Its rather confusing to me but there may well be a logical explanation
