I used unverified 0161705500 successfully for O2 Customer Services today. The verified alternative numbers 01133069265 and 08705860860 no longer work.

I think you have missed a zero off the end - is it 0161 705 5000 ;) |

Good Morning,
mjy58, just to be sure.. What time did call the 0161 number and did you have to speak to anyone? Your also advising the 0113 and 08705 numbers no longer work? Many Thanks, |

Yes, typo, it is 0161 705 5000 :-[
I rang on Monday 12/9/2011 at 16:10 and spoke to an operator who asked me where to be transferred to. I asked for Pay Monthly customer services. I tried the 0113 and 08705 numbers first. They went to an automated response stating they were no longer in use and to use an 0844 number |

Many thanks I will get them updated now
:) The 0161 number has been updated, however I do not have access to the Varified Database, and so Dave will need to amend it. Edited with more info. |

CJT-80 - I am only being pedantic, but the word you should use is 'verified' (meaning confirmed or correct) ;) |

Thanks alot for the feedback mjy58. I've removed the 0113 number and put the 0870 number in the Other Info column as being "Also for 0870" etc. Three direct customer service numbers we have are 0800 0321402, 0800 9777702 and 0800 9777027. |

No disrespect, CJT-80, I only pointed this out as 'every day is a school day' as they say :) We can all learn something from each other on this interweb thingy ;D I hope I did not offend. Please accept my apologies if that was the case. And keep up the good work behind the scenes 8-) |

Golf_Paul
I did not realise you had apologised so please accept my apologies for not noticing that... Just an update I called O2 PAYG Customer Service today on the 01 number in the verified database which is given as an alternative to: 0844 809 0222 and it continues to work. Call made at 19.25 :) |
