I am not sure whether this number is correct. I found the same number in saynoto870.com and it keeps on ringing and no one picked up. I have been trying this number for the past of couple of days. :-[

I did a search of our database, not for the words royal mail but for cricklewood and two unverified entries come up saying they are for Royal Mail in that area.

We have 020 8450 2434 and the number mentioned by sherbert, 020 8452 4884.

Additionally, also unverified, is a number for the Post Office on Broadway: 020 8450 5080


As I say, all these numbers are unverified, so I as for any feedback (positive or negative) on how they work.

Remember that places such as sorting offices are likely to have multiple numbers for different parts and different staff members. For example, I recently discovered a number for my town's main sorting office which, the lady at my local delivery office informed me, was the main switchboard. She gave me another number for enquiring about sending mail.

For this reason, I've put the unverified number for the Post Office in Broadway. Perhaps they might be able to help you with an alternative.

If you do get a suitable alternative, then please let me know by posting on this thread so I can list it in the database.  :)


One last thing; you made reference to "0207" number and "0208" number. These have never been STD codes for London. For over 10 years, most of Greater London has had one area code which is 020. Local numbers are eight digits long (rather than seven as they were under the former separate codes, 0171 and 0181). Thus, these are the eight digits needed to call from one landline with a 020 number to another (without needing to dial the STD code).

mohanramv4, please let me know what you tried and how you got on. This is so I can list a suitable alternative (if you've found one) or help others with the same query.

Thanks for the feedback. I've combined these numbers into one unverified entry with a note to say that they may ring unanswered.

I came across this page which gives 020 8452 6147, although it does say that it's for the CWU based at Cricklewood Delivery Office.
