Title: BT anytime plan Post by Nita on May 17th, 2012 at 9:46am
I've just renewed my BT contract and note that the paperwork tells me that there is a limit of 150 calls or 1000minutes per month. I think this applies to 0845 and 0870 numbers only. Can anyone confirm this. It also excludes indirect access numbers does this include 18185?

The limit of 150 calls or 1,000 minutes per month applies to inclusive 0845 and 0870 calls only. Indirect Access Numbers such as 18185 work independently of the chosen BT Calling Plan and therefore there are no limits or charges on its usage that are set by BT. Each provider may put its own limits and restrictions, but that is a matter for it. |

What it actually says is "0845 and 0870 numbers are also included within your inclusive call times (excluding indirect access numbers and dial-up internet access). Fair use policy applies – maximum 1,000 minutes or 150 calls a month. If either of these limits on inclusive calls is exceeded, BT will charge for these calls until further notice."
When it talks about indirect access numbers and dial-up internet access its only referring to 0845/0870 numbers that you can use to access such services. As Dave points out the use of the likes of 18185/1899/18866 are independent of this,as are 01/02/03 indirect access numbers. |
