Hi , Newboy here :). I received a call to the house phone and missed picking it up by a couple of seconds. When I tried to recall it the number was 'unrecognised'. The number was 056255255. I tried an 01 prefix but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas where it came from?Thanks.

CLIs can be faked, where the communications provider used to make calls allow this. CLI means "Calling Line Indentity" - the identity (or number) of the calling line (or caller).

The prefix 056255 is not allocated to any provider and the number is one digit short for one beginning 056, so it's a sure sign that it isn't a genuine number.
