Tonight BBC Look North (North East & Cumbria) will be reporting on NHS GPs in the area who persist with expensive 084 telephone numbers.

The fair telecoms campaign will be making the item available on its video player, soon after broadcast.

The BBCLN facebook page has attracted a number of people who are now complaining about the extortionate rates they pay to call their GP.

Hopefully, BBCLN will do a more detailed follow up on this story in the coming weeks.
