I was delighted to read, at their no. 7 ...... Click Here
But I cannot see any mention of this on your website, and I certainly think you should be mentioning it. After all, as from Friday 13.06.14, many numbers will be illegal. |

Your having a larf. Do you really think members would not have have been discussing it here having campaigned against their use for so many years. Heres the main thread See: http://www.saynoto0870.com/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.cgi?num=1345459700 its also been discussed in other threads on a regular basis. ;) As has been the Govts decision to take similar action on non geographical numbers used by govt, local govt etc departments. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/hmg-guidance-for-customer-service-lines |

I think you are missing the point. I am not saying this has not been discussed on this board.
But as regards the website, I see no mention of the new legislation. And that is what I am suggesting, that the main page on the saynoto0870.com website needs to clearly mention the new legislation. |

I think the original question was more about why there is no mention of the forthcoming rule changes on the front page of the website.

Now that the Op makes it clear he is talking about mentioning it on the front page of the site, which he did not originally . I think he raises a good point , and I agree it's something the Site Administrator should consider. :)

As far as I can see, absolutely no mention of the new legislation on the saynoto0870.com home page.
I think there should be a mention of the fact that Customer Service numbers are covered by the new legislation, but sales lines are not. And if Customer Service numbers are still non-geogrphic, who to contact? Ofcom? Trading Standards? |
Title: Re: New Legislation as from 13.06.14 Post by Ian G on Jun 15th, 2014 at 11:50am A breach of the regulations can be reported to Trading Standards via the Consumer Advice Line run by Citizen's Advice. Their number is 0345 404 0506. It changed from the matching 0845 number around 16:00 on 12 June 2014. |
