I was trying to find some information about a power cut yesterday that was affecting my electricity supply.

I was suprised to find that not one of the local distribution companies displayed an alternative 01/02/03 number to the 08 numbers currently being used.

They all appear to currently breach the recent Consumer Rights Directive.

I see Scottish Power even have 0845 numbers for reporting power cuts!
