Title: No. for opting out of the open electoral register Post by supergabs on Jul 28th, 2014 at 11:17am
Hi there,
Anybody have a proper number for removing ourselves from the open electoral register? You can only do it by phone as far as I can see. The number is 0800 197 2327 Many thanks :) |

You dont say what Local Authority you are dealing with so its not much help but some allow you to write or e-mail to remove yourself. I assume you want to call the number from a mobile as its free to call from a landline. You might find this service useful http://www.0800buster.co.uk/ |

I've been told by Croydon Council that it's a central number used by all councils. I've seen this number being used by others councils. I've asked Croydon to find out the 01/02/03 alternative. It may be worth you trying the same.
