Oddly a search on Google for 0161 797 9000 comes up with an Solicitor called Latimer Lee... maybe they operate from the same building/company?

The service charge for a 0845 numbers is 0 to 0.7 per minute plus the carriers service charege according to Ofcom :).

The Service Charge for 084 numbers in general is up to 7p per minute or per call. For 087 numbers it is up to 13p per minute or per call.

Each particular number will have a single Service Charge within that range and it will apply irrespective of whether the caller uses a landline or a mobile to make that call.

The caller will also pay an Access Charge of up to 11p per minute from landlines or up to 45p per minute from mobiles.

I do not understand all call charges as some do but what was the point of the recent ofcom legislation in regard to 08 numbers as from the 1st July 2015. It seems rather strange to me.

Part of the action was designed to make users of 084, 087 and 09 numbers own up to the part of the call cost they benefit from and thereby reduce inappropriate usage of these numbers.

If you're not supplying a chargeable service, don't use a number that imposes a Service Charge on callers.

The other part made freephone 080 numbers also free from mobiles.
