[It is really Tom Tom but they cannot deal with it unless it is on the special number.] [offices are not same place]
It cost £16 on the mobile last time and about 30p a minute on Virgin plan. The unverified numbers are wrong. [Go to Tom Tom or Canon uk.

Customer services cannot help. No other number.

I decided to search for the number on-line and got this page

Click Navigation And Multimedia Help, then I clicked the ">" icon on the screen and was presented with the number you have given.   However beneath there are three click-able links.

Carminat TomTom and TomTom Live Queries

MediaNav Queries

R-Link Queries

I clicked Carminat TomTom.. and was presented with an e-mail address.  This would be the most reasonable option to use to a: contact them and b: ask for an alternative number.

For reference the e-mail address' are:

I hope this helps, and IF you do get an official alternative number please let us know what it is.

I have had a call but witheld and they would/could not reveal any other number.

At least we know it is a way to contact them.

Perhaps if they get more e-mails instead of calls they will change their contact number.. we shall see.
