I Got one for all you Pay As You Go Customers wanting to contact o2 Customer services

Dial the top up line 4444

Goto top up phone, then select credit card top up enter invalid details 3 times or so then you get diverted to o2 customer care for FREE.

I used to type # everytime it asked to enter credit card details.. They say when they answer this will cost 50p a minute but just agree with them  Grin

See our O2 listing in the database. The Geographic equivalent of the 090x may just have been transferred, if we're very lucky.

Get back to us with your results.

Will the 01349 numbers count towards my free minutes (I've got 400 anyone anytime mins)?  Are they just normal landline numbers?

This is a conventional landline geographical number for 'Dingwall' and also includes the other following areas:-

# Alness 01349
# Culbokie 01349
# Dingwall 01349
# Evanton 01349
# Invergordon 01349

The number should therefore count particularly if you have 'cross network' minutes, but don't hold me to it!

I've tried 01349 887193 and even though they tell me thats its costing me 50p per minute I've checked my online bill and it definitely uses my free minutes.  I've used it a few times now and every time the 02 person says that the call is costing 50p and I should dial a different number (I can't remember what it is) that will only cost me 15p per min!?!  Me thinks I shall stick with the 01349 number!

Thanks for your help!

Let me just put this straight for you!

The 090x number is just a service that is attached to a standard Geo number (ie. 01349 887193), so whatever you would hear on the 090x line, you will also hear on the Geo number.

The same goes for any 08xx alternatives also.

So don't worry about what they say. As long as you put 141 in front of the number you call, they will not know where you're from or which number you rang.   Grin

O2 Customer Services (for pay monthly customers)

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could please help me with the geographical number for O2's customer services (for pay monthly contract users) please

Their non geographical number is 08702 410 202 and its charged at national rate and DOES NOT come out of your cross network inclusive munutes. I have been billed for this in the past.

Customer Services: 0219 HQ/Bury, O2 online, Dummers Lane, BL9 9QL

Carol, the 01753 565000 doesn't exist anymore. It doesn't work.
