No.

That is correct ONLY if you have Sky Talk (Sky's telephony offering).

Those of us with Sky TV alone, pay the full price if we're daft enough to use their 0844 numbers to call them.

Perhaps Sky have finally thrown in the towel and had to accept that not everybody who subscribes to their television service wants or needs to also procure their phone line through Sky.

Alternatively this 020 number is perhasp sufficiently well advertised to their dealer network etc that it would cause far more hassle than it is worth for Sky to close it down.

I didn't think we'd see the day of having a Sky alternative that has lasted so long!

You mean phone these numbers???

   Call a Sky agent on 08442 410 266

Calls to the 08442 line are free for Sky Freetime and Sky Unlimited customers.

BT customers pay 5.1p/min and 12.5p connection.

Customers in the Republic of Ireland should call 0818 719 819.

That's the whole point of NOT using their numbers  Roll Eyes

Anyway I'd like to confirm that 020 71
** *
020 is still valid, and after going through the automated menus I talked to someone straight away Smiley

020) on 23rd April 2012. You hear a menu where you select which department you need, i.e. faulty Sky TV, faulty Sky Broadband, Accounts, etc

Hello and welcome to SayNoTo0870.com.

We have a number for Sky which is 020 71
** *
020.

It is worth noting that the 01737 61 prefix is allocated to Skycom Ltd and is therefore not likely to be a number operated by Sky. Perhaps the number has been set up dynamically on use of the app.
