thanks daniel for quick response but i am having proplems as follows 08702424242=01506484001 this number works but is not one i use takes forever to answer--------08702404040=08456506123 this is wrong connects to ntl 02077053000 this is wrong connects to sky studio-------08702414141=01383814219 this is wrong mandy mc clarrin voice mail the numbers i use are 08702 404020 use option 1 to upgrade when through talk about any thing 08705800822 installer number 08702435000 sky tec 08702 404040 main number please help im spending £'s thanks terry

With reference to the following telephone numbers for Sky Digital:

01506 484040

01506 484001

I must state that with both of these numbers, you are waiting an eternity for someone to answer, in fact it would be a great deal quicker to dial 100 and ask an appointment for the Pope!!! Someone out there must have a quicker / more efficent number for 08702 404040 - I am spending a bomb trying to get through to Sky and waiting. The shortest time has been 25 minutes at a cost of 10 p per minute!!!!

Come on guys and gals - lets find an alternative geographic number for Sky Digital Customer Services that works quicker.

They said I should call the 0870 number and ask for a callback. I asked for the supervisor and said my phone was barred from 0870 numbers. no problem job sorted. mike206

But, can you please say which Geographic Number you used to get through in the first place in order to request the call-back. I tried several of the listed numbers today today, the reply said that the number was not now valid and I should use the 0870 number. Thanks Phil

Hi Guys & Gals !!!!

If you want to get through to Sky TV and are unable to use the numbers in the listings, try the following:

00353 818719852 - this is the number in Eire.

Use the cheap telephone providers such as One.Tel, Alpha Telecom etc and it will not break the bank. Remember, Sky do not know where you phoning from when using this number!

Try the number and let me know please.

This number does not work.
You just get a continuous beep.
Is that the number you used ? If so when ?
SKY seem to have eliminated all the other numbers posted so maybe they have killed this one too.

If they go to such great lengths to force people to use their 0870 numbers it makes you wonder just how much money they make from these. Also, how much business they lose by alienating people such as ourselves.

I have just E-Mailed them to say that. if I am unable to communicate effectively with my TV Provider, they may as well cancel my subscription altogether.
I am awaiting their reply.

Hi there!

I have been trying to find out, why these two telephone numbers:

00353 818719819
00353 818719852

for Sky in Ireland no longer connect. The last time, that I had dialled these two numbers was on March 13th 2005 and they connected no problem. I have even placed an enquiry on another website to try and find out, if these were correct and also asked whether Sky TV could possibly block anyone trying to use these numbers and they were of the opinion, that it just could be the case.

No, but thanks for letting us know about the wrong number in our database. I've checked & corrected it.

Whilst every effort is made to check that the numbers supplied are correct, we sometimes are not able to confirm them. No website details, numbers in images on the web instead of text, strange formats (eg. 08702 435 000), etc., so it's always useful if we have something to help us verify and find other information.

This is why there are sometimes strange comments in the Unverified entries when we are unable to confirm items immediately.

See Dave's Guide to finding geographical numbers for some help (as your new to the site) in finding some more details for us to work with.

It stops hurting when I stop banging it against the wall !!
