Hi All

Just in case it has not been mentioned on this thread, if you have an O2 mobile contract phone (maybe PAYG as well) calls to 0870 and 0845 number are included as part of your "free" calls allowance. I find this comes in very handy.

As sheargraphix said, the 0800 number in database does not work anymore But I have just been trying different number combinations and have found one that works. Grin

I won't publish it on here or post it on the database, as sky can look it up and will no doubt stop it working.

I would ask you to pm me for the number but I don't think I have enough posts to use it. So maybe best that I give the number to a moderator and you will need to pm them for the number? and we don't want sky to find the number out. Wink
Could a mod please let me know how best to contact them with this number, thank you.

Click on my username and you can e-mail it to me via the page that come up.

I'll pass it on by PM to the mods for you

Hi Anti-0870

I sent you a PM regarding the above, offering to pass on the number to those who genuinely require it, however I see from the posts above the the mod's have already done this for you. Thanks guys.

Please could someone also PM me with the new 0800 number for Sky, thank you.

Thanks for the PM with the number. I guess we will need to ensure that it is not published on here or revealed to any Sky Personnel posing as a Sky Customer. Otherwise we will be back to square one again.

Hi peterlittleton, as I was saying above, I can not send pm's to anyone as yet because I have not enough posts, sorry.

Just to reiterate, I ask all members not to post the number on this forum or on the database, as sky will just stop it working. It is best to just use the pm system and would be up to the mods who receives the number.

Lets just hope sky don't find out what the number is.

Oh, and don't forget to use 141 before you dial, to withhold your number.

That is a good point about using 141 before you dial. I realised that you cannot send PM's yet, however you can receive them. Hopefully you got my PM to you OK and in it you have my e-mail address if you ever need to contact me.

I am new to this site but fully support the concept. I signed up for Sky broadband and have spent many many hours on the phone to try and get their server to give me an IP address. If it wasn't for this site I would be bankrupt by now.
I am still havining to contact the mythical to3 dept at sky broadband only accaessed through sky technical I have read all the threads and have now joined the community can someone send me the new number.
I have emailed my disgust to Sky but in the main they seem to ignore ALL emails on whatever topic and just try limiting a complaint to 128 characters!!!!

Agreed.  I note that there are already 3 requests above from first time posters (I'll leave the decision whether to respond with bbb_uk).

agree with the secrecy of it,but i dare say that $ky will figure it out in the end anyway!
i just hate calling them anyway, even if its free!
they just triple charged me on an install last month, took 3 weeks to get the £100 they owed me,now to top it off they just took an extra direct debit sub today, with no doubt another 1 to follow next week!
need that just before xmas!
